Gazing At My Tree is an abstract painting that pays homage to the amazing markings of tree bark. I wanted to explore the flowing interplay of earthy tones and organic patterns. It has gallery edges, 3 coats of satin varnish and it's ready to hang.
Joanna Landman is mainly known for her abstract works which tend to lean towards biomorphic forms reminiscent of nature. Self-described as an organic/abstract painter and digital photographer, her works often offer a sense of movement or calmness and yet at other times her paintings depict a certain philosophical symbolism with the use of bold shape and form. In 2016 Joanna established INDIGO Studio/Gallery Melbourne, Australia.
