The Mountains are Calling

Painting no. 02 in my mountain series celebrates the magic and beauty of mountains. Inspired by the books written by John Muir. The clouds and ice caps are lightly textured with thick paint, all sides are painted for hanging without a frame. Triple satin varnished for protection from dust and moisture.

I am an artist based in beautiful East Gippsland, Victoria. As an artist, nature remains my primary inspiration; it’s wonderful shapes, patterns and textures. I am also an avid lover and obsessive user of colour in my artwork. I feel that life should have as much colour in it as possible, and I love creating artwork that transmits joy and vibrance to all those who see it.
