Cottage Eggs

This bright depiction of deviled eggs is inspired by childhood memories of delightful potluck cottage suppers with family.
My sweet grandmother brought these eggs for many years then my mother continued the ritual after she passed.

I grew up in Ontario , Canada in a small town near lush woods with ponds and a vast lake.
Ventured out to California in the late 1970’s and while working dabbled in various art mediums.
As a self taught artist, I am open to experimenting in a variety of mediums including concrete sculpture, encaustic and acrylic.
The past few years , my acrylic artwork has focused on creating colorful memories of my childhood years in nature and at our cottage . Depicting abstract memories of ponds , nests and water birds brings particular delight .
