Many layers of paint and collage have been used in this painting until I am happy with the rich and textured base. I then mark the painting with pencils, pastels, crayons. I then paint out what I no longer need and bring the painting to what I love. I then coat it with at least two coats of satin varnish to keep the dust and light from it.
