One of my favourites with a Turner'esque feel, influenced greatly by his work. 'Echoes of the Unknown', from the 'breathing dreams' series; an impressionistic image with pure Aussie connotations. Where are they going? Casual, cool they walk into the unknown, unafraid of what awaits. An intriguing image to add to your walls or art compilation.

‘breathing dreams’
Influenced greatly by the dreamlike works of artist William Turner, known as ‘the painter of light’, Ann has been mesmerised by capturing the equally atmospheric emotion of a moment, rather than a physical object. Rather than using oils and watercolours, she has employed the use of in-camera, long exposure as the paintbrush.
Drawn by the deep, beautiful colours of the ocean and landscapes, Ann has taken the art of the abstract to another level, with natural man-made forms and undefined textures creating the backdrop.
The velvet smooth fluidity of shapes and lines create an interesting altered perception and perspective, a complete sense of harmony created by the visual movement.
This body of work has a dream-like quality that leaves you speculating on the detail, a creative and expressive way to capture both light and shadow.
