'The Nomadic Creative'

Hi there, I'm Ann, a graphic designer who hails from the colourful era of the 80s; photography and design a huge part of my long buried old school creative life.

Fast forward to 2020, when the world decided to throw a curveball at us all, and guess what? It was time to swing back into action.
I dusted off my creative smocks and went back to study, grabbing a Cert 4 in Visual Arts. Then 2021 was a whirlwind of skill-honing as I completed a double diploma - my Diploma in Photography and a Diploma in Holistic Creative Therapy.

The next stop on my creative journey is a Bachelor of Visual Arts with the University of Canberra. I might be closer to retirement age than a young student, but who says learning and evolving have an age limit right!?

My exhibitions and creations span various mediums – photography and digital art - a carefully curated mix of long exposures, intentional camera movements (ICM for the knowing), and some artful digital wizardry. I love these techniques because they let you, the observer, then craft your own emotive story through my work. Charcoal, acrylic and watercolour pieces finish off the mix.

I'm not just a photographer and visual artist; I'm a curious explorer with boundless enthusiasm.
Many of my images are born from years of adventure, both in Australia and across the globe. I'm a firm believer that travel enriches your perspective, and it fuels my desire to share my creative vision with you.
So armed with my trusty Canon 7D, my faithful Toyota campervan, some paints, and charcoal, I'll keep hitting the open road, forever wondering, "What's down THAT road?". Then, taking that road less travelled, I'll capture, draw, and interpret the wonders of the world as I go.

Here's to creating and finding inspiration in countless undiscovered footprints ahead – each venture promising fresh encounters and new insights.
