Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Fashion District Triptych - inspired by the Fashion District of New York City. Fabrics and trims, sequins and feathers, buttons and rhinestones, threads and needles - at first glance they are invisible, hidden in the ugly industrial buildings in a busy Midtown neighborhood. But if you peek behind the glass doors of the stores - narrow, long hallways running in the guts of skyscrapers - they are stuffed with so many colors and textures that it makes you squint.
Acrylic ink, watercolor, variegated gold leaf on primed textured wood panels. Three circular panels: D12β, D10β, D8ββ

This painting is done on a wooden board with 1.5'' profile, so can be easily hung on the wall without any special hardware. No framing needed for this piece: sides of the woodboards are gilded with variagated imitation gold leaf, which creates magical reflection on the wall when hit with light.
