Watercolour on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the back.
Strawberry fields Green is part of the series, artwork series attached to the ongoing project #vecchiostudionycdiaries (check out hashtag on instagram). The story of the breaking point in my life when New York City harbored me and gave me new meanings and beliefs. Paintings are emotional snapshots illustrating my short stories about people, places and situations I encountered as a new immigrant being transplanted from a developing patriarchic country to the melting pot liberal grounds of American north east.
The name Strawberry Fields refers to the part of Central Park in New York City (named after a famous Beatles song) where I spent many days only watching grass movements and soaking in the sunlight.

This painting is done on a wooden board with 2'' profile, so can be easily hung on the wall without any special hardware. No framing needed for this piece: sides of the woodboard are gilded with gold leaf, which creates magical reflection on the wall when hit with light.
