Still life with pears (A)

Still life with pears, the second name of this painting is a winter still life. It was a cold June when I painted this picture. Fresh pears had just been brought from the market. I made some sketches and most of the still life was painted from life. I used the old technique of the old masters of painting, where the shadows are transparent and the canvas glows through the paint, and on the light part I made a pasty texture. I also wanted to make a fresh painterly nature of the fabric.
Oil on stretched canvas, ready to hang. The picture is painted on the finest quality pure cotton canvas. This painting comes ready to hang with D Rings. Vanished. Unframed (no outer frame).
