Although I paint and draw in various mediums, my aim is to convey a feeling or memory. For example, with my blue mountain paintings I am trying to convey the vastness or height of the landscape you get when you stand on the edge of the escarpment. This might be done by using a fish-eye perspective because the view is so large you can't take it in without looking all around you. I also love painting flowers and trees either in a realist or abstract style, using their natural lines and beauty to inspire my painting.
