This is a plein-air study of the headland at Boulder Beach in NSW. The rocky texture of the headland is the main focus, with bold marks made with a palette knife. There are a lot of contrasts with the softness of the pale sky and the deep colours of the cliff and sea. This is painted on a canvas covered board (sealed MDF) and is framed in a white timber frame, ready to hang. The painting measures 46 x 30 cm, and the frame measures 53 x 38 cm.
