Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This original oil painting was inspired by the view across Pumicestone Passage towards the Glasshouse Mountains in Queensland. It was painted on location as part of a plein-air art workshop, using both brushes and a palette knife. There was a bright red boat moored near the shore and it provided a perfect focal point for the painting. The day was bright and sunny with only gentle breezes. Thank you to Tood Whisson for advice on composition.
