Limited Edition Print of my original Pastel Painting. Inspired by a sunny day in WA The beautiful colours in Broome are enough to inspire anyone. Broome WA is one of my favorite places and I love painting with a totally different palette of colours than I would use for our local Perth Beaches. The Colours are so vibrant this print of my original pastel painting will cheer up any room. I love the sounds and smell of the ocean and when we first moved to Australia if ever we felt overwhelmed or homesick (which was rare to be honest) a trip to the beach would always settle us. Just the sound of the ocean is so calming. In this painting I think you can almost smell the sea air and feel the sand between your toes.
This A3 Print would look great framed with a white Matt board.
All my prints are professionally printed and come with a signed Certificate of authenticity.
This listing is for A3, I can do A2 or A1 as well, just message me if you require another size
Each Giclee print is printed on Ilford Smooth Cotton Rag 310gsm, a beautiful smooth stock, used by museums and galleries, acid free and guaranteed to last a life time.
All prints come with a small white border, and are CUSTOM printed and come with a certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

I’m originally from the United Kingdom, emigrating to Perth, Western Australia in 2005 with my husband.

Painting became part of my life in 2016 when I had to reevaluate my life and goals. Being given only months to potentially live is rather a jolt to one’s system. However my cancer diagnosis ignited in me a need in me to create, something to remain after my passing and be remembered by if you will. And it’s painting that I always vowed to do ‘one day’ that came to mind, even though I was far too occupied with medical treatments. However I did manage to do a short pastel workshop on beach workshops that seduced me into fulfilling my artistic dreams.

March of 2019, I was, against all odds, given a 5 year ‘all clear’ from terminal cancer. In particular this allowed me to fully embrace my enjoyment and delight of creating paintings of things I love most. My favourite medium is pastels, I enjoy the feel of them on my fingers, no brushes involved! I started creating coastal scenes with them. However I now also embrace painting other things that delight me similarly - boats, houses, still life, birds animals and plants and I also undertake commissions. I do continue to attend classes, improving my skills and learning new techniques and mediums of all kinds.

My artworks so far, are held in private collections in USA, Barbados, Northern Cyprus, Switzerland, the UK, as well as Australia. I exhibit regularly, locally at art societies and shows, and have a personal gallery.

The paintings that I do are ones that dispel my worries, and am pleased when others feel the same, saying that they can imagine themselves walking on such beautiful, peaceful beaches, wading in the gentle waves, or smelling the flowers. My realistic art certainly allows one to feel that they are dwelling within my painting, I’m often told. Hopefully it allows you to feel the same.”
