April is an abstract expressionist artist. Having spent the majority of her time inside as a radiographer, she prefers to spend her days off immersed in creativity and artist expression. Her paintings are a form of visual language using texture, colour and gestural brush strokes.
She loves to lose herself on the canvas, inviting deeply personal connections and interpretations from herself and the viewer.
Her works depict happiness and fun through the use of vibrant and bold colours.
All of her pieces have been made with professional acrylic paint and varnished in a gloss medium. Unless otherwise stated, each piece is professionally framed in Tasmanian Oak, Natural flooded Gum or American Ash.
