Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

These watermelon pink flowers graced my garden at the start of spring inspiring me to paint them. The rich colours; midnight blue, Payne’s gray, crimson red and watermelon pink are warm and inviting. The blue pottery vase and antique prayer book compliment the contrasting blooms. I have used the pallet knife to give a 3D effect to the flowers adding interest and texture to the painting.
