Woman dressed in Wonder Woman costume is seated in her wheelchair, one leg crossed and a thoughtful expression as she gazes to the right of picture. Her prop sword and shield rest against the couch behind her and two cats (one ginger and one black and white) nestle at her feet. On the marble wall behind her is a carved bas relief featuring ancient Greek heroes in battle including some on horseback.

Painted on a canvas surface that has been gessoed and sanded multiple times to render a smooth, regular substrate, this work is presented in a gold floating frame that complements the golden hues depicted in the piece.

She is set against a background of traditional Japanese motifs picked out in gold on black. A small collection of makeup brushes rests before her and she is applying black eyeliner with a pen. The rest of her makeup is pale with glittering red tiger stripes on her cheeks and forehead and a red cross shape in the centre of her forehead. Her eyes are a clear blue and her lips a very dark red, almost black.
