This artwork is about a colour transition, which can represent many things such as an emotional change, and how it goes from one colour through into another and then yet another. In the same way our emotions transit. It is the interference of the back into the transition that gives the over all painting meaning. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.

This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 208 cm in width by 98 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.
