Windy Woolshed is a 44 stand shed near Quirindi on the Liverpool Plains, northern NSW. It was built 1895 – 1901, designed by an English architect. Because it was before electricity the building is lit by high up clerestory windows. The interior is huge like a cathedral, empty and still. There is a presence that comes from the materials the building is made from but also from the work that has been carried out with in sheds

Transparent turquoise and blue organic oval shapes hover over a blue striped background. Fine detail patterning emerges from the big shapes.A close up section of sea, looking at the colours reflected and the colours under water.A long horizontal canvas shows an expanse of a lily pond.
