Artwork Description

Winter Blues

The winter period on the Mornington Peninsula can be very beautiful, although cold and wet at times. The influences from the ocean and the bay make for often spectacular weather patterns. “Winter Blues” shows the beauty of the winter on the Peninsula, while at the same time expressing the difficulty for some getting through the winter period. The sun reflecting off the bay waters, the towering dark clouds and the spidery network of the naked branches of the tree express the conflicting yet harmonious aspects of winter on the Peninsula.

The photo is very suitable for modern public areas, such as receptions. For illustration purposes, it is shown here as a 1000 mm x 700 mm print, with a 2 cm matte and a wide, white frame. The price quoted is for the print only, framing is extra. The photo can also be printed on high-quality stretched canvas, ready to hang.
My photos are offered in 3 sizes: 300mmx210mm, 600mmx420mm and 1000mmx700mm. Other sizes can be requested. The photos are not framed but framing is done on request. Photos can also be shipped with mattes but not framed. The turnaround time for photos is around 3 days, but framing takes longer. Please let me know what your requirements are.

Artist Bio

My passion is fine art landscape photography. I live on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. It is a beautiful narrow strip of land with bay beaches, dunes, hills and a rocky ocean side. A very inspirational place. Over the years, I have travelled for work throughout Africa, the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Photos from some of those places are also featured from time to time.
