This piece was created using alcohol inks inspired by the deep colours of earth, roots, and ancient landscapes. I was playing with fluid forms, letting the inks move like molten terrain, riverbeds, and the branching patterns you see in nature when you look closely — tree roots, waterways, cracked soil, and mineral veins.
The gold shifts with the light, creating a feeling of something alive under the surface, and the fine white lines echo the way energy flows through land forms. It’s an intuitive piece, made without a plan, more like letting the colours uncover themselves.
