This piece was created as a companion to its sister artwork, using the same gentle palette of pale blues, soft greens, and shimmering silver. I worked with fluid alcohol ink movement again, but followed a different rhythm in the shapes and lines so the two pieces feel related yet distinct.
It draws from the same sense of atmosphere, water, mist, breath, shoreline quiet, but explores the idea in a slightly new way, like another moment in the same landscape. The silver highlights shift with the light, giving it a calm, luminous feel.
These works can be displayed in any orientation, I often flip them for different perspectives on my own wall.
