Growing as weeds, these daisies were picked from a verge during an evening dog walk. Once started, the painting seemed to take on a 70's vibe which then led me to remembering an old '45' record we used to occasionally rummage out of the record stack and play as kids, Jud Strunk's ballad "Daisy a Day". The last two lines get me every time......
“I’ll love you until the rivers run still
And the four winds we know blow away”
