Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

This vase was a recent op shop find and my introduction to Diana Pottery. Operating out of premises in Sydney from 1940 to 1975, Diana Pottery was an Australian company that made domestic and art pottery that today likely resides in the back of cupboards, op shops and vintage stores.

This little Diana vase is posing with a dried leucadendron...not an Australian native, but matching in colour hues. She may just mark the beginning of a slight obsession with Diana Pottery.

Unvarnished at time of photographing.
