You Should Wear More Pink

After perusing this painting for a couple of weeks I decided she was in need of a little more costume jewellery. So here she is, dressed in pink and ready to go out.

I am a Perth based artist working in acrylics. Raised in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, a love of nature led to a career in environmental science with a focus on the botanical world. My passion for Australian flora and an interest in the sentimentality placed on objects appear often as subject material. My paintings often portray a sense of melancholy or sometimes whimsy, but always with the common thread of time passing. To be both familiar and different is the ultimate aim.
