Once upon a wooden boat allows me to dream. All old boats can tell a tale of adventure and like the reflections in the water of this Couta boat sitting quietly in the evening light, the stories of the past can be distorted over time. Painting water reflections allows me to remove myself from reality and relax into abstract form and colour.
