Sidewalks Shadows 02 takes another look at the shapes our shadows present to us in depending on the colour and time of the day. This painting is painted using acrylics onto smooth stretched cotton canvas painted on all sides and ready to hang as an unframed piece. It is the same size as Sidewalk Shadows 01 measuring 56 x 76cm.

I currently live in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I grew up on a farm in the beautiful Yarra Valley where my appreciation of nature and the elements developed into the driving force in my art. I have always enjoyed painting. I find it relaxing and like my own form of meditation. I paint with acrylics onto canvas and quite often use a combination of brush and pallet knife in my work.
I love the challenge of trying to interpret the relationships of light and colour in what we see in nature.
