Beck's album Sea Change is a classic and a longtime favourite of mine. I've rendered it with expressive brushwork and my typical drips and spatters, trying to achieve a balance of order and chaos (the original photograph and the physicality of the paint). The canvas has a gloss varnish and painted sides, and is ready to hang without needing to be framed.
