Inspired by the colour of the leucadendron discolor flower, formalised into a hard edge abstract composition in line with my recent works. Golden green and crimson dominate, balanced by a pale violet glow, a thin fluorescent green focal point and a blue green veil to ground the composition. The tonal shifts are very subtle along side the high contrast of green against red. A contemplative artwork that is both calm and intense which would suit a variety of spaces.
