Original large format hard edge abstract painting. This artwork was inspired by science fiction special effects of the late 60’s and 70’s combined with the mystery of a dark forest where the viewer could be transmitted through time and space to another world.
Meticulously painted in 24 transparent layers of yellow green and pthalo blue green set against bold flashes of pink and intense scarlet.
The final painting vibrates with an overwhelming sense of energised calmness, pulling the eye in through the surface to an unknown destination.
Finished in a uv resistant satin varnish to reveal a lustrous glow.
