Henry the Highland Cow is the latest addition to my highland cow series.
When painting animals, it's difficult to not form some sort of connection with the piece. That's something I love about painting portraits: getting to step back from the easel and see the accumulation of dozens of hours, thousands of brush strokes and many tubes of paint embodied; a real creature , a soul on the canvas.
This artwork was created with oil paint on a quality stretched cotton canvas measuring 20" h x 30" w x 1.5" d.
Signed on the front, edges painting, wired and ready to hang.
Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
