This painting is based on a photo I took in a pub in London. I was extremely jet lagged and it was cold outside but inside the pub was warm, and the sun was streaming so softly through the window, hitting the bottle of flowers just right.
I enjoyed painting the glinting red light through the red bottle, and the textured pattern on the deep green wall.
