Original Artwork by Brooke van Ruiswyk
As a member of the Indigenous Art Code Bluethumb is proud to have established direct partnerships with some of Australia's most respected First Nation's artists and art centres.
Often I paint landscapes from memories, and this painting is a collage of trees and mountains at Kempton that left a lasting impression on me.
Artwork comes with certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.

Brooke van Ruiswyk has garnered recognition for her profound exploration of the Tasmanian landscape, rooted in her family’s farming heritage spanning generations. Her delicate yet powerful paintings, often crafted meticulously with oil on canvas, beckon viewers to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of textures and hues that define her evocative works. Brooke has been a selected finalist in numerous prestigious art prizes since 2008, including The Glover Prize in 2023, 2024 and 2026. She was also awarded Highly Commended for Landscape in the 2025 Doyles Award, announced winner of The Henry Jones Art Prize People’s Choice Award in 2024, and achieved The Zonta International Award for Young Emerging Artist in 2010.
