Original Artwork's Description

This painting is currently a selected finalist in the Henry Jones Art Prize exhibition in Hobart and will be available for shipping after 12th December.

As the weather shifts, the wind howls its way through the Midlands, making the clouds - dark grey, heavy and ever-changing - bustle across the vast sky, casting a shadow over the day. The hauntingly beautiful tune invites the long grass and old bare tree to move unpredictably; erratic sways at first, then stillness falls. One can be alone in this environment, and yet still feel completely enthralled by the presence of life.
