Artwork Description

‘Boulders at Karlu Karlu’ 91 x 122 cm (36 x 48 inches)

Rich red/orange and mineral grey colors mix in this landscape.

Traveling the Northern Territory's amazing natural landscapes, venturing off the Stuart Highway you may have experienced the impressive sight of the Devils Marbles or Karlu Karlu.
These gigantic boulders have become an internationally recognized symbol of Australia's outback and are spectacular when the light of the morning and evening sun highlights their deep red color.
Karlu Karlu translates to 'round boulders'.
This piece is from my Primordial Landscapes Series. A collection that reflects the moody thoughtfulness and vibrant colors of the Australian Outback. No sharp edges, let your mind flow and become immersive in the experience that is Outback Australia.

About My Work

For these special large prints, I use beautiful museum quality Canvas and the highest quality archival inks. People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colors, the depth of the blacks and the texture of the materials I use. Every canvas is varnished with professional quality artists varnish which gives a protective surface and exquisite sheen that strengthens the color depth.

A Note on Canvases
Your canvas will have 2 - 2.5 inches of white border for use by the framer in stretching round the sides of your frame. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped and shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.

OTHER SIZES and DIMENSIONS
This is also available in other sizes, on paper or on luxury ChromaLuxe aluminium. Please contact me for prices.
