"It's the closest tower to home which means I didn't have to pay for parking!" came my reply.
I could tell you this drawing of the iconic Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Tower is full of cultural meaning, full of Gold Coast history or just full of sand induced wedgies but really I drew it because...well who doesn't love a snapshot of the beach!
Made using rich, high carbon and graphite pencils. I think these work nicely to capture that sticky, sandy air feeling.
