Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

I was taking a stroll during a beautiful Spring day at Circular Quay. This great cruise ship had arrived not long ago. There were people everywhere, maybe waiting for loved ones to disembark or maybe just dreaming of cruising the seas. The Opera House was majestic as always in the background. The pink Jacaranda flowers added to the atmosphere.

High quality acrylic paint on gallery stretched canvas on a strong 3cm deep frame. Framing is optional but not necessary.

Cobalt blue sky.A small cafe in a cobble stoned street in the Old Town of Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. There are several tables with chairs and red umbrellas on the side of the road. People sitting under the umbrellas enjoying drinks. The buildings are white, old colonial buildings from the time of the Spanish and the Portuguese. There is a bicycle leaning against the wall of a building on the right side of the painting. Also a blue bench. Greenery and red hibiscus flowers cascading from the buildings. Pot plants on the footpaths. Balconies on the buildings. View of one of the many little streets in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. Historic white washed houses border the narrow street which ends on the River Plate in the background. A small cafe on one of the corners with tables and chairs on the footpath and people sitting, enjoying the sun. Trees covered in red and white flowers on both sides of the streets. Also, pots with red flowers on the sides of the street. A hot summer day. Hot yellow sand. People sitting under several palm trees. A beach bar in the middle ground with people around it.
