Since I was a young girl I had a fascination with this white wall in our neighbours' house. I always thought it looked very Spanish and very pretty. It is typical of the type of architecture found in my city of birth, Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. Now I decided to paint it.
I used the palette knife to recreate the texture in the wall.
It is only a small painting but it can be the highlight of a room. It can also be grouped together with other similar small paintings that I have for sale.
It has a strong wire attached to the back and the sides are painted in a soft raw sienna colour, so it can be hung with or without a frame.
