Artwork Description

Charcoal on paper

Signed on the front.

Over the past couple of years I have been utterly dismayed at the number of homeless people everywhere but particularly in cities. Interest rate hikes over the past couple of years have lead to a bleak outcome for so many people of all ages and from all walks of life. It's a dismal legacy we leave exacerbated by poor forecasting on behalf of our financial institutions and government. I only hope that the future holds a better outcome for those who are homeless. We need to do better, we're supposed to be the lucky country.
