Scene in purple

I enjoy creating small, quiet moments in the studio when the sun shines just right. I came across some heavy cotton twill fabric, tie dyed in a rich purple and the colour gave my little scene a glorious feel. I combined it with a some found objects to create a scene that feels lush and slightly opulent, in spite of it's simplicity. I enjoy the aesthetic of fabric and glass through the richness it brings to the light and shadow, and hope that it will do the same in your space.
