I love pink and I love painting pink birds!
Pink Punk is an oil painting of an Australian Pink Cockatoo, painted on a 20cm x 20cm cradled wood panel. The edges are 3.8cm wide, allowing these pieces to stand on a shelf if required. The sides are painted and the piece is unframed, but ready to hang.

I have painted it with palette knives to create gorgeous texture in the feathers as well as the soothing background.

Pink Punk is the rowdier, extroverted of the two pink cockatoos I recently painted, and is always ready to party.

I paint colourful, textured art that evokes a sense of joy and love. I combine what I see in nature with what I feel in my heart to create art that brings pure joy to the world.
