Travelling Hearts by Cassie Holmes

Travelling Hearts is a memory of the trip my husband and I took to Lord Howe Island last year for our 30th wedding anniversary. I have used the same colour palette as the Travelling Turtle piece I painted, another memory from our trip to Lord Howe Island.

This piece is full of movement, joy and love. I have used oil paints and palette knives to create gorgeous and textured hearts to remember our trip and a reminder of what a special and amazing place that Lord Howe Island is.
