Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

An artist searches through his materials box looking for the perfect charcoal to help him create a contour life drawing. Something most artists can relate to. This artwork is close to my heart because I love life drawing and the permission I seem to give myself to simply be and do what comes naturally without expectation or reason. Bill (my subject) is an artist who I admire and who has mentored my art practice over the years and is someone I highly respect within our small artist community in Darwin. Photos do not do this piece any justice. This painting will add a beautiful artisan feel to any room.
