Artwork Description

Oil on wood

Signed on the back.

The dry season would have been the perfect time to pull out my Pochade Box and painted en plein air (Painting out doors). Instead, I cooked in the steaming heat as I sat down infront of the restaurant near the pontoon and painted someone kayaking down on Lake Bennett (one of the few places you can swim in the Northern Territory). I had to dive in for a quick dip mid painting to get some relief from the heat. I was quite happy with the outcome and hope that you enjoy it too.
