Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

In the middle of summer I went on an adventure into the middle of Australia with my family. One of the places that we visited will forever have a special place in my heart. Gemtree Caravan Park has an abundance of wildlife, history and you can also go prospecting for my birthstone, garnet gemstones. I sat by my camper and snapped this intimate view of literally hundreds of Zebra Finches, waiting in the trees for a chance to make a quick dash over to dripping tap. It was a sight to behold and one I had to re create my own interpretation of using the layering techniques that I have been working with lately creating fullness of colour and visual depth to the work. This piece will add something special to any room.
