Rock pool in Australian bushland was painted using my Imagination or minds eye.
I use no references or photos when creating, but rely on my Intuition and memory
I wanted to depict the beauty of the Australian bushland in certain places with it's tall
rough barked trees that amaze me with their powers of adaptability over eons of time, even in very arid conditions the trees seem to have magical powers of survival
this painting is intense and energetic with a lot of black lines done mainly with
a palette knife to give the impression of the wonderful scrubby Australian bush
