This painting is part of my atmospheric landscape series influenced by J.M.W. Turner. In this work there is a rising golden mist with hints of mauve and a touch of blue sky above. The mist is parting to reveal a lake and foliage on the horizon creating a soft, dreamy and welcoming scene.
