This is a forest scene with a bit of magic! I used a new technique by adding metallic copper and bronze colours to the sides and base in a distressed semi abstract style. When the light hits the painting at various angles, it picks up the metallic paint and makes it glow, highlighting the dappled paintwork. This is the first of a series of paintings I'm planning in this style.
