Artwork Description

Cheryl’s studio is based in Far North Queensland, she credits this dramatic and ever changing environment as a major influence in her artwork.

In Between Things is a fusion of subtle impressions interpreted from nature.

The intuitive mark making combination with a restricted palette and use of negative space strives to express an emotional response to nature and place.

In Between Things is a beautiful earthy statement painting perfect for any large space. Its vibrant palette of light warm yellow ochre, beige and browns, grey, black and white makes the bold mark-making in this piece come alive.

It is acrylic on canvas and comes wired, ready to hang on your wall. Please check the dimensions before purchasing as images are not to exact dimensions. It is signed on the front with full signature and titled on the back with a Certificate of Authenticity.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences good times and bad. I begin with a feeling and end wherever the music and the paint takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling."
