Artwork Description

Master of Visual Art Degree - 2009
Bachelor Arts Degree - 1999

Night Lines is a significant abstract painting with its subtle imagery and suggestive mark-making to endlessly roam.

Inspired by the outback and the patterns found in nature, this work is about experiencing the play of light over vast open spaces and discovering both the subtle and bold changing patterns within it - when your imagination begins to take over and starts filling in the gaps.

The palette consists of stunning use of black and white, soft greys with bold and dramatic warm earthy tones married with tiny pops of complementary cool greens, like in nature, trying to burst through to the surface.
This unique and complex piece of artwork is the perfect piece to take time out and get lost in.

It is acrylic on canvas and comes wired ready to hang on your wall. The imagery continues around all sides of the artwork. Please check the dimensions before purchasing as images are not to exact dimensions.
It is signed on the front with full signature and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences good times and bad. I begin with a feeling and end wherever the music and the paint takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling."
