Resonance is a fusion of subtle impressions interpreted from nature.
The combination of a restricted palette and the use of light strives to express an emotional response though form, to nature and my place within it.

The mark-making speaks of the tension in the landscape and the subtle palette suggests the movement of things coming into and fading out of view, whilst the silence of the gentle scumbling punctuates the spaces in-between. It is the latest piece from the popular ‘Silence, Tension, Space’ series and is a painting that requires roaming.

This is the last piece from this popular series. These paintings are very complex and personal to me and come from the heart. Those who collect these paintings found their own connection with the right piece. I hope this is the one that resinates with you.

Influenced by the work of masters such as Cy Twombly, Turner and Tapies, I bring all that I love about their work and add my touch which is inspired from studying the light and tonal fusion in nature. Some of the images have a shimmer to them as the painting has a slight satin finish to it.

It is acrylic on canvas and comes wired, ready to hang on your wall. Please check the dimensions before purchasing as images are not to exact dimensions. It is signed on the front with full signature and titled on the back with a Certificate of Authenticity.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences good times and bad. I begin with a feeling and end wherever the music and the paint takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling."
